TAGA and Agentcities

Agentcities is an agent-based test-bed for future information and agent network. more technical information can be found from http://www.agentcities.net or http://www.agentcities.org. Agentcities research directions include:

  1. Open agent community which allows to add services and resources;

  2. applications and demos for agent collaboration on the Internet context;

  3. Validate and test-bed for FIPA standards.

Agentcities is build to provide a community of FIPA-compliant Agent platforms throughout the world. Each platform is provided by a standalone vendor who has a certain geographical location. An platform can host some agents and thus provide some services. The Agents on different platform communicate according to FIPA2000 specifications. Currently, Agentcities has up to 56 platforms all over the world.

TAGA is developed in the Agentcities. Agentcities facilities support the open and distributed feature of TAGA, and TAGA also add auction services to Agentcities and demonstrate how FIPA specifications are used in Agentcities' communication.
